Alex has experience in a broad range of areas including corporate law, commercial transactions, wills and estates, general civil litigation, construction litigation including builder's liens and creditor-debtor disputes and collections.
He assists business owners with incorporating new businesses, buying and selling businesses, contract drafting and review, shareholder agreements, business reorganizations and various employment matters. Alex also assists individual clients with refinancing, preparation of wills, powers of attorney and representation agreements, and committeeship applications.
Alex earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of British Columbia before attending law school at the University of Manitoba. In 2016, Alex was awarded the Abraham L. Simkin, Q.C. Prize from the University of Manitoba, for highest academic standing in Corporations Law II. He also served as Co-chair in the Manitoba Law Students Association Community Outreach Committee working frequently with Children’s Wish Foundation to support a variety of fundraising initiatives.
Alex was called to the bar in June 2017 and has appeared on behalf of his clients in a variety of litigation matters before the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
